Priceline Hotel: Singapore Bidding

My stay 13th March 11 to 21 March 11. There appears to be 5 star hotels showing in the bidding area for Marina Bay at Singapore$149 or approx $US110. I am not sure if this is an average price or a price that a hotel has been won at? The site offers really good hotels in the 5 star range in that area. Can anyone offer any advice as to what to bid to secure a popular hotel. The only one I am not keen on is the Intercontinental - its just not my style of hotel - very traditional....I am guessing that this may be the base hotel or perhaps the Grand Park City Hall - although the rates show that the Fairmont for my stay is coming up at a very cheap retail price and is a good hotel.....

Any ideas anyone..... I'm a bit frustrated with the wins on the Priceline US site - seems you can only win a night or 2 here and there..................

Cheers :)

The site I am talking about is Priceline Singapore.

Hopefully a PRICELINE link will be available at BB?
