landrover1 Posted March 21, 2005 Author Report Posted March 21, 2005 I am going to Palm Springs for April 18 - 21 this is mid week am I beetter bidding now or should I wait until closser to the time? Will it be less expensive for a resort if I wait till the week prior to going to bid or look in a rate now? I have always thought you get better deals closer or futher out but I have no emperical evidence to back this up any help would be great! Thanks

You may get lucky as you get closer, but it could take $115-130 (maybe less: keep watching Hotwire, it'll give you a clue). In the meantime, have a back-up. In PS/PD, inventory is held during high season, and not released until closer to arrival. But since it's mid-week, you'll have a better chance of getting your resort. Be patient!
