Hotwire Hotel: 5* Las Vegas (Strip North) Venetian

Hi all. Brand new to this forum and glad I found it! I've never done so before but am planning to use Priceline (or Hotwire) for a 5 star Vegas hotel and am not sure how to request two beds. Does anyone know how to do this? Also, any other advice, recommendations or thoughts for my trip (October 14-17) would be much appreciated! Thanks.

There is no way to guarantee 2 beds via PRICELINE - the service only guarantees double occupancy/1 bed. You can make a request for 2 beds with the hotel, but it's entirely up to the hotel whether or not to grant the request. If you search for more than 2 people via HOTWIRE (2 adults/2 kids, for example), you are entitled to bedding for the entire party, but that may mean 2 beds, or 1 + sofabed. Some HOTWIRE listings do offer a "bed choice" option which allows one to select bed type for a bit more $, but a listing with this option may not be available for your dates. Aside from the HOTWIRE bed choice option, there is no way to guarantee exact bed type with either service.

In terms of your trip, what are you looking for in terms of area, desired budget and star rating?

Thanks for the info. Me and my buddy are going to be celebrating our 40th (ugh!) birthdays there and we want to stay at a five star (or Caesar's) on the strip. We want to keep it under $200/night if we can. We plan on hanging out by the pool, gambling, drinking, and eating!

HOTWIRE is showing what appears to be the Venetian or Palazzo for these dates at $219. However, I'm seeing an interesting deal for the Venetian on Expedia.

A lot of info:

The larger Venezia Bella Suite is only 1 cent more ($249.01) for these dates on Expedia than the most basic suite ($249), plus you get free breakfast (it should say: includes: Continental Breakfast )

This is the detail for the Venezia Bella Suite:

"Two plush queen beds with pillowtop mattresses in bedroom area. Full-sized sofa bed in sitting area. Total 700 square feet. Access to the Venezia Garden Pool Deck. High-speed Internet access. 42-inch LCD TV in bedroom area and 32-inch LCD TV in sitting area. Minibar. So, according to this, you would get 2 beds.

Additionally, using coupon code RELAX10 on Expedia takes $10 off each night - $239.01. Unfortunately, still over your desired budget, but ....
