KOA Kona Big Island Compact Alamo

Using the BB PRICELINE link, I have been placing bids for a compact car rental in KOA on 10/30/10-11/02/10.

I started at $10 and have been steadily increasing my bids by a dollar or two each day. Today, my bid of $24 was rejected. The suggested bids are $35.

At this point, I will probably stop and try again in a few weeks.

I tried again last week to bid for a compact car in KOA. I started at $17/day and worked my way to $25/day. No success.

Yesterday, the prices on Hotwire for a compact car in KOA had decreased (from $28 --> $21) so I decided to try bidding on Priceline again.

Using the BB PRICELINE link, I started my bidding at $17/day which was accepted.

I'm glad I decided to delay for a few weeks before continuing with my bids. I saved about $35.
