Used BetterBidding PRICELINE link. Started at $45 for a downtown 3*. Added Hixson and raised to $52. Added Ringgold and raised to $59. Added South and raised to $66. Added Lookout Mtn. and raised to $72. Dropped out. I had been hoping to score the Sheraton Read House. Might be Labor Day weekend making things tough.

I'm considering whether I want start over at 2.5 stars and try for the Chattanooga Choo choo Holiday Inn. I still have a few days.

Yes, it might be the holiday weekend that makes this harder. Rates are higher than normal.
