Priceline Hotel: bid strategy NYC Chelsea 4*

wondering what strategy to use to attain 4 * Chelsea hotel in NYC October 8 to 10. Any ideas? hoping to spend 180 to 200 or so but note it is Columbus Day weekend....any help appreciated.

No 4*'s in Chelsea have yet been reported to the board. Rates are high in NYC throughout the Fall, and a 4* in Midtown is going to be tough at $200 - I'm guessing that you may be looking at as much as $225-250. You could start at $150 for a 4* and work higher by $5's up to your $200 max and see if any hotels accept.

Are you interested in any other zones, or only Chelsea?
