smithy Posted August 31, 2010 Report Posted August 31, 2010 Hi, I'm a new user but I have read the FAQ and read a guide to Priceline on moneysavingexpert.com (UK website which also recommended this site). We need 1 night on 19th September 2010 in a hotel in Dearborn. I'd really like to book the Doubletree at Dearborn since my girlfriend insists that the cookies are amazing, so preference is for that particular hotel (I know the hotel cannot be guaranteed before booking). The Doubletree is the only 3.5* hotel listed in Dearborn on the hotel list, so if I only bid on 3.5* hotels in Dearborn am I likely to end up with something else? Any advice on how much to bid? Thanks!
AaronJB Posted September 1, 2010 Report Posted September 1, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)There is no way to guarantee a particular property; there could be a 3.5* that has not yet been reported to the board, or you could get upgraded to one of the 4*'s in the zone. What would be your desired budget per night? Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

AaronJB Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 How much are those cookies worth?! :)They are pretty good (especially fresh/warm, not the ones in the tin.)
