Priceline accepted my $70 bid for travel dates of 11/24/10 to 11/27/10. Two rooms at The Palmer House Hilton.

Earlier bids of $50, $58, and $62 were rejected. We're pretty excited!

Next time, I'll go through the PRICELINE link on this board. I didn't understand about that.

I'm trying to get a hotel in the same area (and hopefully same hotel) for the dates of 11/26- 11/28 but I am not getting accepted for up to $85. Do you think it's because I'm trying to stay on the weekend as opposed to Wed-Sat. like MS300?

Slight differences in dates during busy periods can lead to significant differences in availability and price. The day after Thanksgiving is always pretty busy w/people coming for day after Thanksgiving sales downtown.
