Priceline Hotel: NYC - 7/10 - 11/10

I'm looking to stay about the Jacob Javits center from the 7th to the 11th.

I have an extremely tight budget and looking to spend no more then $130- 150 per night for a 3*.

I know this is an extreme stretch to get any kind of deal but I have read its not impossible. I'm not to sure if its better to try close to the date of travel?

Areas I'm ok I would like to stay in are

Times square

Midtown west

Hells kitchen

Madison square

Based upon current rates your $150 limit probably isn't realistic... what is your gameplan if you continue to be turned down at this rate?

Although there can often be little correlation between star levels, this users priceline pursuit for dates similar to your at the 3.5* has yielded no results up to $250 at the very emphasizes how strong demand is for these dates.

PS- i'm assuming your dates are Oct. 7-11?
