I believe I was too far out timewise but now rooms are becoming available for October.Yesterday bid $75 and received counter offer of $95. Bid $80 then and denied. Waited a day. Two rooms.

It is the Moevenpick Hotel Berlin on Schoeneberger Strasse.It appears to a business hotel. There are very few posts for Berlin hotels so was relieved to have my bid accepted. Am now bidding in Paris - same situation in Paris - very few posts. Will also bid London but have done so many times and know something will come up.
