Hi! Looking for a stay in San Antonio for Oct 3-5.

Looking into 4* with the following amenities @ listed price of $82

Boutique

Non Smoking

Fitness- guess have access to equiptment addition charge may apply

Restaurant

Pool (s)

Business Center: additional charge may apply

High Speed Internet: in guest rooms, addition fees may apply

With the word boutique I am thinking Gunter or Omni La Mansion. What do you all think, is there others in this area with boutique status?

Quick question, at the Gunter is it kinda of a sure bet that I will get a Queen bed instead of a King by using bidding?

In general, there is no guarantee in terms of bedding when using PRICELINE or HOTWIRE. You can make a request with the hotel in terms of bedding, but it's up to the hotel.

Well, I did a bid for $79.00 in the Riverwalk Area for October 3-5 and got Marriott Plaza San Antonio. I can't say I am happy. Don't really think this a 4* hotel but I guess it is said and done. I looke at the price on the actual site and the going rate was $179/night so I can't complain about that.

Decided to do Priceline instead and I think I got the short end of the stick. Got Marriot Plaza San Antonio, would have much rather gotten the Gunter. Oh well, won't keep me from doing it again, lol.
