Priceline Hotel: 4* Las Vegas (Strip North) Treasure Island

Hello at betterbidding, thanks for great website.

Silly question, I just need some advice.

I am going to Vegas from Oct7-10/2010, need 2 rooms. Am easy with most 4* or 5*, but would prefer to be North of MGM & avoid Trump if possible. Obviously would prefer 5* but there is a big price jump right now on Hotwire.

I have submitted several bids to Priceline unsuccesfully.

Just curious in your opinion what is best strategy to ensure I dont get Trump. I'm willing to pay more for 5 star for sure. Any thoughts for reasonable place to start with bids, and to place sequential bids on priceline.

Thanks very much.

Welcome to BetterBidding :)

Trump is located in the Strip North Vicinity by our latest reports so only use the Strip North zone to avoid the Trump.

If you would like to get help with a bidding strategy so please post your budget/night before tax/fee for 5* vs 4* hotels.

How high have you bid for 5* and 4*?

Let us know how we can help you further.

Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.

Thanks Yellow Dog.

That particular weekend is expensive, being the long weekend.

I tried unsuccesfully for a 5* on Strip North on Priceline up to $250.

I got Treasure island for $150/n. I'm not super pumped about it, but it is a savings over the posted rates for sure.

Thanks very much.
