Priceline Hotel: 4* Portland (Downtown) The Governor

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Thanks very much to everyone for sharing their information and strategies for bidding on Priceline! Was initially nervous about bidding sight unseen but the information here was straightforward and made sense, so bit the proverbial bullet and began the search.

Was looking for 4* in Downtown Portland, did some retail research as well as LMT before I clicked this site's PRICELINE link to begin the bidding. Choosing 4* for Portland Downtown meant Priceline had a whopping 10 rebid ("dummy") zones. Did the following:

- Selected Portland Downtown (PD) - $85

- PD + Beaverton - $90

- PD + Beaverton + Clackamas - $95

- PD + Beaverton + Clackamas + Convention Center - $100

- PD + Beaverton + Clackamas + Convention Center + Gresham - $105

- PD + Beaverton + Clackamas + Convention Center + Gresham + Lake Oswego - $110

- PD + Beaverton + Clackamas + Convention Center + Gresham + Lake Oswego + North Harbor - $115

- PD + Beaverton + Clackamas + Convention Center + Gresham + Lake Oswego + North Harbor + NW Portland - $120

Although a leetle higher than I'd hoped for, still a pretty darned good price - retail off the Governor web site started around $199-$219 for the same dates, and LMT had the Governor at $200.
