gtoddk Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Using the BetterBidding PRICELINE link, I bid $40, got a reply that if I bid $50 I could get the property no problem.I closed out the window, and restarted.Adding a new zone, I bumped it to $45 and was accepted.I should have reviewed my previous purchases, as I stayed here the first weekend in February for $43.At checkout this time, I got a receipt showing the cost of the room was $48, including taxes, with the base rate being $41.My cost, including all fees and taxes was just under $60.The only issuse I have is that for $25 to valet park, they should not argue with you about the length of the vehicle. The valet supervisor seemed to think that 23 feet was excessive and her drivers might not be able to handle it.I asked why they didn't hire people who knew how to drive.I've had this same vehicle valeted at the Hyatt Indy and one in Chicago as well.Maybe it's just the fact that they don't want to drive a hearse. :) (it's not like I have a body in the back or anything :) )
AaronJB Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Congrats on your success. :)Very nice deal for this Hyatt property.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE link.Enjoy your stay.
