Sorry was a little busy.

When I search for one room it returns an option for Hotes.com, which I didn"t notice before. That is a price of $119.33 for the El San Juan ($179pernight, third night free). I had never seen that before so it threw me.

When I enter either 2 or 3 rooms it gives me the first senario for $112

Currently using the HOTWIRE link there are no 4star Resorts for 4 adults 2 children so I will wait until there are. Thank you for your help up to this time and look forward to your input in the near future.

It says it is recomended by 100% of customer reviews.

Not sure but I think it is the LaConcha, although I can"t seem to find any hotel that is recomended by 100% of customer reviews.

This property has not yet been reported to the board and i'm not sure what it might be.

While the ratings does appear to be good, if you're not willing to take a chance on this one, if you change your search criteria to 6adults a new 4* hotel appears in this zone for $135/nite with:

Resort, Beachfront, Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Hi-Speed Interent, Business, Laundry, Tennis, Spa

... and a 95% recommended rating (still quite good) and a 4.0/5.0 Tripadvisor rating.

This matches previous reports for the Inter-Continental so that would be my best guess for this one. While it is a few dollars more than the other 4* you at least have a guess as to the property, and the InterContinental gets some of the best reviews of hotels on the island (although most hotels in San Juan don't get great reviews) and has a great location on the beach.

The amenity order doesn't matter... yes, the property you posted above is the one i had seen and i believe to be the Inter-Continental.

Glad to see you received the hotel you were hoping for and that you're happy with the results... this is one of the better ones in the San Juan area, imo. Great section of beach and non-hotel dining options in the immediate area as well. (the Golden Bagel Bakery is a good nearby choice for breakfast... decent prices, GREAT cafe au lait, but it comes with the notoriously slow San Juan service)
