Madtweety Posted March 18, 2005 Report Posted March 18, 2005 Ok, I thought the weekend is more expensive so I rebid with 2 nights instead of 4 and lowered the price to $73 and I got it. Now I have to find a room for the weekend... maybe I take a boutique hotel?

Madtweety Posted March 19, 2005 Author Report Posted March 19, 2005 yeah $73 was my first bid, I tried to bid again for the following two nights (friday-saturday) but I have been rejected until $90.. a bit on the high site I think.. so I keep trying maybe I have to try for a 3 star hotel?
thereuare Posted March 20, 2005 Report Posted March 20, 2005 Rates at some of the 'usual suspects' don't seem too out of line with typically accepted bids. Although the Marriott appears sold-out so the chances of you receivng the same hotel are fairly slim.I would be a bit patient with this and not opt ot lower to 3 stars just let. Just to be safe book a cancellable back-up in the meantime. Please start a new thread for this stay to continue this discussion furhter.
