VictorTheBig Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 I used the site's HOTWIRE link to book.Tried PRICELINE as well, but with no luck $1-2 less than equivalent classes in hotwire. Also saw $11.95 Economy and Compact.Got Alamo, which seems to offer "worse" cars for the comparable class. Dodge Caliber as example midsize, really? Let's see what I actually get, but can't argue with the price, which was $179.58US all in for the week.
VictorTheBig Posted August 23, 2010 Author Report Posted August 23, 2010 Weird: I just went back to check the prices again: Midsize is now $11.95 for my dates/times, with a total of $165.58. WTH?!? I wonder why that works, but I guess the next guy who books a week saves $14...
yellowdog Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 Thank you for sharing your win with the board and using our HOTWIRE link to begin your bidding :) Sorry to see that the price dropped. Most likely because Alamo got bigger inventory than demand for your dates.Drive safe! Yellowdog.
