jeremylang42 Posted August 22, 2010 Report Posted August 22, 2010 Hi, sorry if someone has already posted this info. This is an amazing board and I've already gotten a lot of great info.I'm looking at trying priceline for the first time for a trip to NYC in late Oct. (And when I do, I'll be sure to use the PRICELINE links through here) I had one question and wanted to see if more seasoned users knew:Are the hotels in the "regular" section the same ones as in the Name Your Own Price? For instance, if I choose the Chelsea area at 3 or 3 1/2 stars, I get seven hotels. Are those the seven hotels that would be searched if I did a Name Your Own Price with the same details? If anyone has info, let me know. Thanks!
AaronJB Posted August 22, 2010 Report Posted August 22, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Some hotels that participate on the retail side do not participate on the bidding side. The list of Priceline properties in NYC that have been reported to the board can be found in the Priceline Hotel List. New ones can appear at any time.If you would like assistance, please provide your dates of travel, desired star rating, desired budget and which zones you would be interested in bidding for.Thank you for using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.
thereuare Posted August 22, 2010 Report Posted August 22, 2010 Also note that the zone boundaries in the 'retail' side of PRICELINE are different then the 'bidding' side of PRICELINE... so be sure to confirm the zone boundaries before bidding :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
