Shea77 Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 I'm going to DC in April or May. There will be 3 adults in our room so I need 2 beds (which Hotwire allows for now from what I've read). When I checked prices for "3 adults" they were one price, when I changed the search to 2 adults and 1 child the rates dropped dramatically, about $50 per night!Do you think I could get away with booking "2 adults and 1 child?" My cousin is 22 but maybe she can pass for 16? LOL! PS - I am looking at Westin Embassy Row or Grand Hyatt in DC. April 22-April 24.
thereuare Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 I'm not seeing the same dramatic rate changes that you are, but in theory, i would just book 2 adults and 1 child, and only have one person go up to the desk during check-in while the other two 'consider' the menu at the restaurant, check out the fitness center, or some other task that takes place other than the front desk.Let us know how it goes.
