Jorge J Posted March 17, 2005 Report Posted March 17, 2005 Booked Bensen for March 13 at 70.00. Was told at check in it would be 20.00 more for two beds. Rack rate same for one or two beds. I have lived near this hotel for years and all the comments are right. It is an old, old hotel, partially refurbished but mostly old and antiquated. It is nosy on the front side, yes they do have a cocktail hour But I do no ever want to stay there for $90.00 again. I wonder if there is any way to avoid booking it. I am writing to Coast Hotels also, any other suggestions. IF you want a quiet on the river hotel all rooms very nice bid for the Larkspur. $66.00 got a room with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. And it was full and we still got a great room.
