LvTvl Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 I used the betterbidding.com HOTWIRE link to book the Hyatt in downtown Vancouver tonight at $106 per night for Aug 28-31. I know that people have won rooms at this hotel in the $78-$90 range on Priceline, but we have two adults and two teenagers, so I needed to make sure that we have two beds. Amenities shown on Hotwire: Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, High-speed internet access4*, recommended in 95% of customer reviews.Does anyone know why Priceline doesn't have an option for two adults & two children (two beds)?
AaronJB Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 Congrats on your success. :)Excellent deal for this Hyatt property. PRICELINE - as far as I'm aware - has always only guaranteed double occupancy/1 bed, possibly in part due to the fact that rooms with double beds command a premium in many hotels across the country (especially in major cities.) On HOTWIRE, when searching for more than 2 people in the room, prices are often (not always, but often and especially in major cities) more expensive than when searching for only 2 in the room. HOTWIRE may also show different options when searching for more than 2 in the room.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's HOTWIRE link.Enjoy your stay.
