Priceline Hotel: HELP! Cant win a bid in Downtown Milwaukee (for this weekend!)

Long story short, my highschool friends and I have a 7 year tradition of returning to Milwaukee each August for a weekend of lavish meals and lavish spending. Last year we got 2 rooms at the Intercontinental for 89.99 each. We wanted to try priceline this year and our bidding went as follows:

-4 star at 65.00 - denied

-3.5 start at 55.00 - denied

Waited and tried again. Did not want to mess around this time...

-4 star at 100.00 - denied

-3.5 star at 100.00 - denied

-3 star at 75.00 - denied

I never thought we would even get this high with bidding. Any help at all would be appreciated. Time is obviously of the essence. Hotel rooms are for THIS Saturday night.

This is just for one nite, 8/21? If so, rates are very high for this nite... what is the best rate you're able to find thru conventional booking channels? What is your maximum bid?

Also, not sure how many of you there will be, but note that PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, which means you could receive room(s) with only one bed in them... would this be an acceptable risk?
