Tried to book a room in Times Square at the last minute (literally the night before). Prices seemed very high. Started at $160 for a 4* and bid incrementally up by $10 until bid was finally accepted at $270. One of the highest prices I've seen show up on here for a 4* in NYC. This was for a business trip with company paying, figured I'd use Priceline to save them a little bit of money. Rates directly from the Hotel for those nights were around $399. Used the PRICELINE link.
