Priceline Hotel: Can anyone help with naming 3* and 2* priceline athens,greece hotels?

Hello. I will be going to Athens in Sept. 2010 and looking to stay as close as possible to the Plaka, or ancient city center part of town.

Can anyone help me identify what the 3* and 2* hotels are and their price and proximity to Plaka? Thanks so much.

If you just enter "athens" in the Quick Search box straight above, you will see reported bids.

The first post in this Priceline - Other Countries has a list of reported hotels - however people have only reported 5* and 4* wins here so far. Same for Hotwire.

Look at the retail side of Priceline (click on the blue Priceline up above, but then click on "Hotels" in the top line). Plug in Athens and your dates and you will get a long list of hotels, prices, etc. Pick just the star levels you want to see. I did it for a random date in September and came up with 16 hotels ranging from $50 to $177. These hotels are not necessarily the ones available via bidding, but it will give you a general idea of the possibilities. Priceline has a mapping feature too. After you've selected the star levels, ask for a map.
