Priceline Hotel: 4* San Diego (Coastal) Hyatt Regency La Jolla

Posting of my trip to San Diego for the 4th of July weekend. Wanted to stay in the Coastal area since the rest of my friends were staying in Pacific Beach. Began my bid at $100 (4 star since I feel more comfortable at that level) for the weekend since I hadn't seen any winners for that weekend. I began increasing my bid by $5 and adding regions that I knew didn't have 4 star hotels (not inclusive of downtown since I didn't want to end up there). At $140 Priceline said I could increase my bid to $165 and win my hotel. I did this hoping thinking I may get the Hyatt Mission Bay which would have been perfect. Ended up at the La Holla Hyatt, which is a great hotel and not too much further for me to travel. Overall a little higher than I wanted to bid but for the 4th of July weekend I wasn't that disappointed (the weather was another story).
