owl36 Posted March 16, 2005 Report Posted March 16, 2005 Needed one night in a resort in Phoenix for this date.Abandoned original intentions of staying for 4 nights (unsuccessful to $130! in Tempe and North Phoenix - no availability for all nights at Squaw Peak nor Wyndham Buttes) and successfully bid for a resort in Tucson for 4/5-4/8Initially bid North Phoenix $65, $70, $75, $80, $85 but no luck. Started again in Tempe $65, $70, $73 and then success at $76. Very happy to have secured my accomodation requirements at a better quality and saved some $$$. Must say that this is the longest I have had to persevere to be successful. Have persevered to be unsuccesful in the past before! I guess it reflects high season.Once again thank you to thereuare and to everyone who posts. I will keep up my part of the bargain by posting a review upon my return.owl36
