George63
We started our bid for two rooms low ($50) and now have gone up to $76 with no luck. Last year we got the Renaissance for $70 per room for two rooms for 10/28/09 - 11/01/09. Does anyone know if there is a convention or other activity that would cause a price increase on our dates this year? Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!I don't of anything specific happening during these dates (the Seahawks are away)... but $76 for a 4* hotel in Seattle really isn't that much, and even just 'average' demand could easily fetch opaque prices higher then this. What is the best rate you're able to find thru conventional booking channels? What is your maximum bid for this stay? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. George63
Thanks for your reply. Our plan is to wait for a week or so and monitor pricing. We use Kyack to check prices. We appreciate the good information that is available on betterbidding.com, expecially about getting a refundable back-up hotel arrangment if we can't get a deal on Priceline. Link to comment
