Priceline Hotel: OGG Maui Convertible Alamo

Had been trying to get a convertible on Priceline for a few months before the trip (for my sister and her new husband). Had seen the lowest price for that timeframe to be about $520 so I tried getting something around $400 total with no luck. Started at $25/ day and went as high as $37 a day. A week before the trip, the cheapeast convertible rental was sold old and convertible rentals went up to about $750 or more for that time period (looked up until the night before they flew out). Couldn't even get a cheaper car (midsize, compact or economy for $25 a day on Priceline). Had reserved a compact for $380 b/c it was last minute. On the day they were traveling, I saw a convertible rental on Hotwire as going for $550 total so I thought I'd go for it and try Priceline for a better deal. Tried $30/day with no luck. Told me to rebid $37. Instead, I just closed the browser and rebid for $35 and won. Yay!
