Am traveling to NY with my two sons (9&15), and after reviewing many threads here decided that Secaucus was the locale that fit my needs/price range best. I was hoping for a suite style hotel, however I am not upset about the result. Free shuttle to Secaucus Station, bus route close by, and free parking is great. Used Better Bidding links to Priceline.

First bid: 3* Secaucus - North Bergen $65- Rejected and offered rebid at 80$

Went back though Better bidding

Second bid 2.5* Secaucus - North Bergen $72 - upgraded to 3* accepted at Crowne Plaza Meadowlands

A very nice deal for this property which offers some great transportation options into the city. As well, there are some fast food places nearby (Wendy's, a 'fast' mexican place similar to Qdoba, Chipolte, etc, a Dunkin Donuts as well as a convenience store)
