Can anyone tell me if you can tell the difference in the Westin Diplomat and the Crown Plaza before you confirm your reservations on hot,wire or PRICELINE?

There is no way to ensure a particular property via HOTWIRE or PRICELINE, although one can make an educated guess as to which hotels are showing on HOTWIRE. You can find the hotels reported to the board in the Hotwire Hotel List and the reported PRICELINE wins in the Priceline Hotel List.

I would like to stay at the Westin Diplomat but have seen many posts where the 4* in Fort Lauderdale (Hollywood Beach) is the Crown Plaza. Is there any way to distinguish between the two when bidding?

Thanks for the advise. The place I am looking at on Hotwire is $76.00/night for September 8 - 12th. The amenities are:

4-star hotel in Hollywood Beach

Resort

Near Beach

Smoke Free Rooms

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant(s)

High-speed Internet Access

Golf Nearby

Is this Crown Plaza or Westin Diplomat?

I can't get the same hotel to appear on my standard search for 2 adults. How many rooms/adults/children did you search for? Can you please run a new HOTWIRE search and confirm that you still can see this hotel on your search.

anything under $94 on hotwire most of the time (98%) the Crown Plaza and bids over $94 will mostly get you Westin Diplomat on priceline. Hollywood beach
