Checking for a Midtown Hotel in NYC for one night 8/27. Found a Midtown East 3 Star, Amenities: Fitness, Restaurant, Bus Ctr, Internet. Only $139/nt. 90% recommended

Thinking it's the Radisson Lexington? Hoping to be closer to Rockefeller Plaza than to the UN.

Thanks!

I used the links on the website and realized that it automatically populates with 2 adults. We also have 2 kids coming along and when I add them to the search, my 3* Midtown East bargain is no longer an option.

Any advice if I book with the two adults and then call the hotel directly to request 2 beds? Do they allow that?

NYC is extremely difficult in regards to two beds, as many properties (even at the 4* level) offer small/very small rooms. Rooms with two beds are not common, and often go for a premium when available. If you indicated two and then tried to request two beds, it would definitely be a risk and two beds would be unlikely, unfortunately.

What would be your desired max budget per night?

Trying to keep it under $250 and have friends staying at the Warwick, so want to stay relatively close in the Midtown area. Times Square, Midtown or southern Central Park would be okay. Thinking of trying the Hilton NY and doing the Exec. Floor which should include breakfast?
