I have been bidding for the last few days for a 4* in the St. Germain - Latin Quarter - Montparnasse area, with no luck so far.

I started at $112, $118, $121.

I am limiting myself to this area as it seems most centrally located. (The Opera Quarter East - Les Halles is even more central, but I have not seen a winning bid posted on this site!)

Any thoughts on how high I may need to go for this time of year? Any suggestions welcome.

I have been using the PRICELINE link off this site.

Even if you don't see any reported wins should you try this zone if you're willing to stay there. Since we don't have any reported wins don't we know if PRICELINE has inventory in this zone.

If you would like to get help with a bidding strategy so please post your budget/night, zone(s) you're willing to stay in and the rating for the hotel.

Let us know how we can help you further.
