jennaofthejungle
Hello All- first time poster although I've visited the forum several times. And yes, I booked using the betterbidding links at the top of the page :) (used it twice actually as I made two different reservations)Just booked the DoubleTree Lakeside for $61.00 a night (2 night total w/taxes $148.29). This is a huge improvement over the $149 per night rate their website is showing! It was listed on Hotwire as:3.5* Downtown ClevelandFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterLaundry FacilitiesHigh-speed Internet AccessJust as an aside for anyone traveling to Cleveland we had previously booked (and are currently staying at) the Wyndham Playhouse Square. It's a very nice hotel if you end up winning a bid for it. Very convenient location. We're just moving because we found such a great deal on Hotwire (saving $26 a night over our current rate) and we're ready to check out a new neighborhood. We're also planning on visiting the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame which makes the Doubletree a nice score since it's right across the street. By the way, if you are looking for a restaurant, I strongly recommend the Greenhouse Tavern on 4th St. Incredible restaurant! Link to comment
