Immediate rebidding at higher price (with no other request changes)

Are you allowed to immediately rebid with the exact same request EXCEPT the bid amount? Or do you have to wait 24 hours?

If I immediately start a brand new bid with the same request but at a higher price, I find that priceline will not complain. But it complains if my first request is rejected and I try to raise the bid price in the results page.

Is this normal?
