Gallus50 Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 Rates are really high during your stay. It must be a busy time. I would book a cancelable backup while bidding, then keep trying. Should probably look at Hotwire, Travelocity Secret Hotels and Lastminutetravel.com. Last minute had some 4* going for less or same as what you've been bidding.You're staying so long that you could also look at places that have weekly/almost corporate apartment rates, like the Donatello, Oakwood Corporate Housing, or the Gaylord Suites.
