Priceline Hotel: 3* Ft Lauderdale (Airport FLL) Hyatt Place South

Thanks to the forum admins and to those who have posted here. It makes Priceline feel a little less "stumbling in the dark" nerve-wracking. And yes, I used the link from here.

I needed 2 rooms for 4 people Nov. 26, 2010. It was a one-night pre-cruise and we wanted to be fairly close to the airport. Also hoping for airport and/or Port Everglades transportation. Looks like we got airport pick-up but I don't see anything about cruise port transportation. A cab will be fine though.

A couple of the 2.5 star places near the airport would have been perfect but I was afraid of a couple others that were less desirable so I just started with 3* and got the hotel I expected--thanks to the info I got from this forum.

1st bid:

3* FLL Airport

Bid: $46

Rejected and it told me I could add $10 and re-submit or up the ante and try again, which I did.

2nd bid - I added:

4* Downtown (I wanted to do 3.5* but it automatically forced me to 4 stars -- no big deal as it turned out)

Bid: $51

Accepted for Hyatt Place Ft Lauderdale Airport South. That's a bargain! Thanks again. :)
