Rejected at $90, added a zone and got it for $100 + $18.82 in fees.

When I was doing the research on regular rates, Expedia first said "3 night minimum" and when I changed to 3 nights it said sold out. A call to the hotel directly said they're sold out tonight. Yet there it is on Priceline!

I'm sorry, I don't know how I missed that! It was Aug 9/10 (same-day booking).

It was particularly good for a hotel that was sold out. :) The confirmation also offered additional nights at same rate.

BTW, I don't know when they booked but the same friends had the same hotel for $65+fees for the night before (and it offered more nights at _that_ rate too!, bu tthey didn't think they were staying). I don't have enough info to make a formal post on that one though if I can get their confirmation email I'll post it.
