moony1234
Hi all,Pretty new to this so please forgive me if I have missed something.I know priceline cannot give me the option for 3 adults in a room [double bed and pull-out would be fine]. What is the best way for me to deal with this?If I increase to 2 rooms the price will obviously double, making it a lot less competitive...Thoughts?Thanks,Aaron Link to comment
yellowdog
Welcome to BetterBidding!Best way is to go with HOTWIRE for this. You can search up to a quad room with them. Please read this link: I've never used Priceline or Hotwire Let us know how we can help you further. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog. moony1234
My only concern is that with Priceline I can go right down to like $130 but Hotwire the price is fixed @ $230.... Link to comment
AaronJB
If HOTWIRE is showing rates in the $225-250+ range, then a win at $130 on PRICELINE is unfortunately going to be very unlikely. HOTWIRE rates when searching for more than 2 adults in the room are going to be higher due to extra person fees likely being added into the price. Additionally, while HOTWIRE rates are "fixed" at the point of purchase, they do vary over time and often - especially in big cities - throughout the day. What would be your desired max budget per night? Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. moony1234
Well a fixed price website is offering the Renaissance which is 4.5 stars on TA for $1579 inc taxes etc for all 3 adults & 5 nights [$315 per night inc tax].It doesn't specify what type of room it is but that is for 3 adults...I guess I'm just looking to save as much as possible? thereuare
This should not be an expensive time in NYC (relatively speaking) I think you can easily beat the Renaissance deal...Searching for 3adults HOTWIRE has what i believe to be the Doubletree Times Square for $1315 all-in and Hotels.com has a 2 queen bedded room for $237/nite ($1525 all-in and includes Kimpton's Daily Wine Reception)... either of these of interest? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
