tenerifesharon Posted August 10, 2010 Report Posted August 10, 2010 What great recommendations!! :) I'm printing them out and filing them away for future reference -- one can always dream, right?? Who knows...it could happen. We were there only two years ago -- sigh!
jedooley Posted August 12, 2010 Author Report Posted August 12, 2010 Wow. Thanks for all the Advice.I managed to book a hotel outside of the downtown core from Hotels.com. This hotel is in Bankstown somewhat near the Yagoona station for $145 US. Hopefully there is a bus I can take to the hotel from there. It was the best I could do given the circumstances. I can't believe how much the hotels are there during that time. Its crazy. Thanks for the New Years advice. You seem to know the city well. I'm looking at hitting up the nightlife. Do you know of any places to go with a somewhat older crowd. 25+.Jeff
