anniebee Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 I would like some help with a bidding strategy. We are planning to check in on July 01 and checking out on July 06. We need two rooms and would like to stay in the Fisherman's Wharf area. I bid $55 for 3 star and was rejected. I rebid at $60 and added zone where a 3 star wasn't available-rejected. I rebid at $65 with an added zone (4*) rejected and again at $70 (4*) rejected also.Any advice? Thanks
thereuare Posted March 14, 2005 Report Posted March 14, 2005 Rates are currently a little higher than usual... are you willing to SPLIT YOUR BID?Do you have a maximum bid in mind? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
anniebee Posted March 14, 2005 Author Report Posted March 14, 2005 I guess I could split my bid. I've never bid that way, any advice? I'd like to keep my maximum bid around $100 if possible because we have to have 2 rooms. I can go higher if I have to, I just don't want to stay in a dump.
