hbarnwheeler Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Hi,I'm tentatively planning a trip to New York this coming weekend (SAT & SUN nights) and am wondering if anyone can tell me how much I can likely expect to pay on Priceline. I haven't yet bid because I"m not sure that I will be going. I don't care so much about amenities as I don't plan to be in the room, save to sleep. All I'd like is a single room with two (clean) beds for a friend and I in Manhattan. Shared bathrooms are OK. Downtown is best, but it doesn't really matter. Thanks for any info, tips, etc.
AaronJB Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Please provide your desired budget per night, desired zones and star rating and we would be happy to offer suggestions.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
hbarnwheeler Posted August 8, 2010 Author Report Posted August 8, 2010 I don't have a desired budget, I was just hoping that someone could tell me what I can expect my budget to be. I"ll gladly use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links provided should I decide to travel.
trace22 Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Since you can't guarantee 2 beds with PRICELINE, have you checked HOTWIRE? You could specify 2 adults/1 or 2 children to guarantee separate sleeping arrangements, although it could be 1 bed and a pullout. With HOTWIRE the prices are listed, so it would give you an idea of the potential cost. PRICELINE often comes in a little cheaper but you may only get 1 bed.
