Dates: check in Aug 8, check out Aug 13.

I've always trusted Priceline and Betterbidding in the past, but this property has reviews that include: crime in parking lot, hourly rental motel next door, closed businesses adjacent to and across from property. I don't feel safe staying there and will have to find different lodging. Am extremely disappointed that a property in this type of location would be 3* on priceline. Please beware when bidding 3* in Greenville zone 2!!!

Thank you for the follow-up; this is a new hotel that has not been previously reported to the board.

Sorry to hear that you're disappointed with the result. You could write PRICELINE regarding your disappointment with the star level and include quotes from some of the distressing reviews, and see what PRICELINE's response is.

Priceline's response was that they were confident the hotel was a 3*. They advised me to address any concerns to the front desk and if they aren't helpful to contact priceline at that time. Unfortunately, this doesn't address my concern of safety on the property itself. There are closed businesses, overgrown parking lots, etc adjacent to the property. Just not comfortable staying there, so I rebooked a 3.5* and will post that bid separately. I lost $200 this time and learned never to book more than 2 days at a time! I won't bid 3* in Greenville anymore.

Thank you for posting the 3.5* win separately. I'd try contacting them one more time and making the case that you were upset enough about the result to have to go book a completely new stay during the same time period. Sorry to hear that you are not going to be able to use this stay, though.
