technohenry Posted August 6, 2010 Report Posted August 6, 2010 I'm thinking of gettin a 4* hotel in San Francisco from Aug 23rd to Aug 31st (8 nights)It's my second time bidding on priceline for SF hotel, last time I got a $95 deal in FEB 2010 for Hyatt Regency (Embarcadereo) on my first try. But I dont seem to be getting any luck this time, I've tried bidding for the past 2 weeks, from $70 up to $110, I tired Embarcadero, USE and USW, also using the free rebids areas, but still no luck.Is it possible that the duration of my stay is too long, should I break it up when I'm bidding, I serached on the forum , ppl been getting successful bids for Embarcadero, USE, USW for lower than 110, for as low as 90. My priority area is Embarcadero (which is where i would spend most of my time during my SF stay), but USE and USW would do for me also, just I wouldnt mind paying a little more for Embarcadereo. Can can one give me some biddng tips, much appreciated !

technohenry Posted August 6, 2010 Author Report Posted August 6, 2010 Read and used the PRICELINE link above to bid
thereuare Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 There is a fairly significant price increase for the last nite (or two) of your stay and i belie that is the reasons for your current rejections at the prices you have bid. Would you be willing to change hotels for the last nite (or two) of your stay?Let us know your thoughts and we'll take it from there. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
