Priceline Hotel: 4* Los Angeles (Downtown) Westin Bonaventure

Ah.. hi guys.. I'm desperately in need of help whether it is possible or not to get a refund from priceline ..

Just minutes ago I was bidding for a hotel in los angeles and suddenly my girlfriend tries one bid from her house

at 80$ for a four star hotel.. without knowing that I was also bidding to.. and once i made a bid for 78$ for 4star

she msgs me telling me that she got a deal! So I closed all my internet browser hoping that my bid request doest go through

but minutes later I received an email confirming that I've got a deal the bid...

Now we are stuck with the same hotel, same dates but 2 rooms.... and my girlfriend;s credit card is charged about $780 for both

biddings.... ah just in matter of seconds there goes an extra $390 off our budget...

Is there any one who's got a successful refund from priceline...? or anyone that can help us..?

oh I've bidded $78 and GF went $78 for an 4star downtown los angeles hotel and got a 3.5 star hotel (The Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites)..

during August 28th to sept. 1st!

Best you can do is contact PRICELINE and explain that you and your girlfriend both bid on the trip at the same time, not knowing that the other person as bidding too, and you therefore now have two reservations at the same hotel for the same dates, and if it would be possible to have one of them cancelled.

I'm not sure if you're also stating above that you feel the 4* Westin (as rated by PRICELINE) is really a 3.5* property, but i'd leave that out of your discussion with PRICELINE, as that's not going to help your case at all and you should make your situation as clear and concise as possible.
