Priceline Hotel: 4* Chicago (NMA-River North) Omni Chicago Hotel

This was my first time trying Hotwire/Priceline, of many more to come! I'm planning a surprise overnighter in downtown Chicago for my wife, but also can't break the bank. Had some wild idea about trying the whole Priceline thing, since I've had a friend use it with success in the past. Somehow got linked to this helpful website and started researching my options. Originally found what was probably the Omni for $99 on Hotwire, but by the time I figured out what it was and determined that it appeared to fit my needs quite well it was too late and that listing was gone. There was another $99 Hotwire listing that was the generic one (Fittness, Restaurant, Business, Internet) used by Hard Rock, Hyatt Regency, Sheraton, Swissotel, and Westin River North. It did have a 95% rating from 500+ users, which I'm sure means it would be a more than acceptable place to stay, but that didn't help me any in figuring out exactly which one it might be. Since I am a bit of a control freak, I decided that if I was going to give up my decision to the gods of chance, I would give Priceline a try first. Imagine my surprise when the Omni Chicago Hotel was the one to accept my $80 bid!!

There are 5 rebid zones for 4* hotels in downtown Chicago. There are probably more effecient bidding methods than mine, but being a Priceline Virgin, I guess I just didn't want to make any mistakes that could hamper my search...So I bid as follows:
