I increased the bid to $48 but that was not accepted. Then I added Hartford South zone for free re-bid of $50. This was accepted. Total was $120.68 ($50/nite plus $20.68 tax & service fee). The lowest price I've seen is $114/nite internet rate on the Sheraton website. Used SavingsBarn.com. Link to comment

biddingforhotel Posted April 9, 2005 Report Share Posted April 9, 2005 I often got this nice Sheraton with big swimming pool for $34 or $35 ... just fyi ... It is mid point from Boston and only 40 miles from Mohegan Sun Casino, so on the way back from Boston can dropped by Mohegan to have a wonderful buffet dinner and hang on for an hour or two before taking the wide Hwy 2-W about 40 miles right directly to this hotel ... (very smooth). If you go from NYC area and stay here Friday night, then you may be able to heading very morden Pequot Museum right next to Foxwoods during day time and night time to the casino before coming back for Sat night stay ...
