Contemplating on whether to opt for Extend Stay, however this property is only recommended by 60% on tripadvisor. Any idea how long the "Extend Your Stay at the Same Nightly Rate" option is available?

When the "extend your stay" button is offered it doesn't guarnatee acceptance at that price, it only offers the chance to get the same hotel. When you try to extnend one of three things will happen:

-accepted at hotel for same price

-told no availability

-offered a room at the same hotel for a higher price (you have the option to accept or turn it down)

You only get the chance to try to extend your stay once, so once you attempt to extend the stay the option will disappear... otherwise it will remain until 11am day of check-out (unless it's a hotel which does not allow same day reservations, at which point the button will disappear at midnite)
