Priceline Hotel: 4* NYC (MTE) InterContinental Barclay

My boyfriend and I are planning a trip to NY from 11/27/10-12/02/10. The dates are not flexible.

The ideal would be 4* Central Park South or Midtown East (but will also take Midtown West/ Empire state/ Times Square)

So far I have bid up to $180 on the above areas with no success. Bid up to $165 on 3.5*

On Hotwire I've seen $229 for 4* Midtown East (with fitness room, restaurant, business centre, hi speed internet, tennis, 95% rec, 3.5 tripadvisor (likely Grand Hyatt or the Barclay although the Grand Hyatt has 4 points on tripadvisor)

I didnt really want to go over $220 but does anyone have any suggestions?

I think you're not very far off from a MTE/CPS win, and can progress higher by $2/3 at a time. MTW/TS would most likely be more expensive, as may ESB.
