adriscoupons Posted August 4, 2010 Report Posted August 4, 2010 I bid for a 4* hotel in greenville (8/6-8/8 2010), this were my bids:$60 - Rejected$75 - RejectedThen I thought I had just one more change so I did just put the max I was willing to pay for it..$90 - Accepted...It came out to $209 for 2 nights tax and fee included... Then I went to the starwoodhotel.com and checked the price there to see how much I saved.. found out I can get a gov discount with government ID which I have.. and it would have come down from $350 to $204. I called priceline and they agreed to match the price plus refund me $25...I ended up with 2 nights at 4* hotel The Westin for $180 tax and fees included. I feel it was def a good deal :)Has anybody gotten upgrades once in the hotel using a preferred guest card?btw, I did use your PRICELINE link... how do I add this to the Priceline Hotel List?
