Hotwire Hotel: 4*Magnificent Mile Area-Streeterville Area Hotel

Trying to get best guess as to identity of Chicago four star Hotwire hotel as in title of this topic for 8/8/10 to 8/11/10, priced at $111 with amenities as follow: fitness center, restaurant, business center, high speed internet access, and spa. I'm having major problem with the night prior, 8/7, even on Hotwire. Someone said it's Lollapalooza this weekend.

Also wondering about four star North Michigan Avenue-Water Tower-Gold Coast area, same dates, priced at $105 with fitness center, restaurant, business center, and high speed internet access.

Thanks for the help on these or other suggestions for lodging under $150 per night for 8/7 to 8/11 near downtown. Svenfran

The issue with "near downtown" is that once one leaves the main downtown area, there's really little-to-no options until you get towards the suburbs.

The 4* Mag Mile would likely be the Hyatt; the 4* NMA could be one of a number of properties -

Allerton, Westin, Drake, Knickerbocker and the Avenue have been reported with this amenity set.

The 7th is going to be difficult due to the concert. HOTWIRE rates for that date alone are showing at around $225-250 +
